Inspirational People

Here's a quick list of people who inspire me. Hopefully you guys can get some inspiration from these people as well!

1. Emma Watson

Emma Watson is such an inspirational person. She isn't just the actress who plays many of my favourite characters (Hermione Granger, Pauline Fossil), she's also an intellectual who studied at Brown University, an advocate for women's rights, and generally a wonderful person.

2. Michelle Obama

This woman inspires me to stand up for myself and what I believe in, and she does some seriously awesome public speaking. Michelle Obama makes me want to stand up and applaud whenever I listen to her talk. The people loved her and she loved them.

3. David Bowie 

David Bowie is one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to music and fashion. He was never afraid to be himself or do what he wanted to do. His music was revolutionary and truly defined the music scene in 70s Britain with his genius lyrics, unique characters, and awesome Mick Ronson guitar riffs. David Bowie inspires me to be myself, write music, and not care what people think.

4. PJ Liguori 

PJ Liguori makes content on YouTube and I can genuinely say that he is one of the most creative people on the site. His short films, songs and sketches are what inspire me to create stuff of my own. He's absolutely hilarious and I watch every single one of his videos the second he uploads them.

5. Lin-Manuel Miranda

For those who don't know, Lin Miranda writes musicals and recently wrote the Broadway hit Hamilton. The raps and remarks he comes up with are incredible and I really don't know where I would be in my love of musical theater if I hadn't discovered In The Heights and Hamilton. Lin inspires me to work non-stop at the things I love and to embrace the musical geek inside of me.

6. Misty Copeland

Misty Copeland is a principal ballerina with the American Ballet Theater and one of the only three African-American principal dancers ever. She has leaped over so many obstacles to follow her dream and she inspires me everyday to strive to become who I want to be. Misty Copeland also doesn't follow the typical ballet body norm, which is so inspiring to girls in the ballet world who don't fit the mold.
